Banquets and Catering, the University of San Diego's exclusive caterer, recipient of the First Place 2002 Loyal E. Horton Dining Award, will create tailored menus for your every catering need. Whether preparing an Executive and a succulent reception such as, Gourmet French cheese board with baguettes, Italian Marscapone Torte, Crostini Caprese, white beans, Pate du Chef with cornishons and cured olives, or a less specialized meal such as a continental breakfast, Banquets and Catering will ensure that your event receives first class catering service.

Creatively prepared and well-presented meals add to any conference experience. Let our Executive Chef, and our professional catering staff, take care of your special meal. Choose from an assortment of menus or feel free to request special assistance to create the occasion you desire.

Residential accommodations are available during the summer months. Blankets, pillows, bed linens, and bath towels are provided. Prices include three meals a day in the University Center Main Dining Room.

Camino Founders - Traditional Dormitory
Camino Hall and Founders Hall are two separate buildings that include residence rooms in addition to classrooms and administrative offices. Single and double rooms are available. The residence rooms are located on the second floor of both buildings, which are connected by a central staircase and adjoining bridge.

These residences were originally built as the San Diego College for Women. Their unique design offers views of beautifully landscaped courtyards. Each resident is provided a twin bed, dresser, desk, and desk chair, and the rooms have parquet flooring. Rooms are wired for Internet access, by use of an ethernet network card in your computer. Showers, toilets, and "Johnny squares" (individual sinks) are located at the end of each hall. Laundry rooms are also available in each building.

Camino/Founders is conveniently located near classrooms, the library, chapel, and Manchester Executive Conference Center. Lounges with cable TV are located in both Camino and Founders Halls.

Maher Hall - Traditional Dormitory
All rooms have wall-to-wall carpeting. Each room has its own bathroom including toilet, sink, and shower. Residents are provided with a twin bed, dresser, desk and desk chair. In addition, each room is wired for Internet access, by use of an ethernet network card in your computer. Residence rooms are entered from outside balconies and some rooms have splendid views of Mission Bay, Tecolote Canyon or the landscapes or hills to the east. Vending machines are available on the third floor and washing machines on each floor. This residence is centrally located near classrooms, the Library, the Bookstore, the Mail Center and the University Center, which houses the Main Dining Room. A TV lounge and a study lounge are provided on the fifth floor.

Missions A - Suites
The San Dimas Mission A complex offers suite-style living near the east-end parking structure and Jenny Craig Sports Pavilion.  There are twelve three story buildings, with each floor housing eight residents in single or double rooms. Each floor or suite is fully carpeted and has a furnished living room area, which includes a microwave oven. There are two bathrooms with showers, toilets, and sinks on each floor. Each resident has a twin bed, dresser, and desk with chair. Each room is wired for Internet access, by use of an ethernet network card in your computer.
These units are located along the edge of Tecolote Canyon and some have views of Mission Bay.

Alcalá Vistas - Apartment Units
The Alcalá Vistas include 156 apartments located adjacent to the Sports Center Complex (gym, locker rooms, weight room, pool, tennis courts) at the east end of campus. The majority of these units have two bedrooms plus two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. Each of these two-bedroom units accommodates two to four residents. The three story units are clustered around two courtyards and feature the Spanish Renaissance architecture that is used throughout the main campus. Laundry facilities, study rooms, wide-screen TV, and lounge are located on the first floor of Palomar Hall.

The McNamara Fitness Center, in the Jenny Craig Pavilion is a wonderful 4,000 square foot facility designed to meet the needs of our residential conference participants. The center has a large cardio area that is equipped with treadmills, stationary bikes, two types of stair steppers and the state of the art free runners by StairMaster. We are also proud to offer the new full line of Hoist Fitness machines. Hoist holds an impeccable reputation for being the leader in user friendly, high quality fitness machines. You will also find a full array of free weight activities for your use.

Residential conference participants also have access to tennis courts, Olympic size pool, and walking paths throughout the USD campus and Tecolote Canyon.
